Dr. Bryan Schmidt, DDS
Lead Dentist & Founder, Schmidt Family Dentistry
Dr. Bryan Schmidt earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Indiana University School of Dentistry and has completed extensive continuing education in sedation dentistry, oral surgery, endodontic treatment, and advanced restorative dentistry.
He attended Purdue University for his undergraduate studies where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Sciences and IUPUI graduate program where he earned his Master's degree in Biology.
Dr. Schmidt ran and managed a practice in Wabash, Indiana for several years after completing his doctorate program at Indiana University School of Dentistry before starting Schmidt Family Dentistry in Sheridan, IN.
Dr. Schmidt grew up in Cicero, Indiana where he and his family currently reside. When not caring for patients, Dr. Schmidt enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.

Kelsey Schmidt
Business & Operations Manager
Kelsey attended Purdue University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She worked for several years as an Audit Manager at a regional certified public accounting firm before staying home with her and Dr. Schmidt’s two kids.
Kelsey grew up in Fishers, Indiana and met Dr. Schmidt while they were both attending Purdue University. She and Dr. Schmidt were married in August 2020 and currently live in Cicero, Indiana.
When not managing the dental practice, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending barre classes, and playing with her kids.
Ashley
Insurance Coordinator
When you enter the building, Ashley is one of the first faces you will see. She works as our Insurance Coordinator, assisting patients with insurance coverage and going over treatment estimates.
Ashley grew up in Arcadia, Indiana and currently resides with her family in Tipton, Indiana. She has worked in the dental field for over 15 years previously as a dental assistant before discovering her love for the front office. She genuinely enjoys meeting each person and looks forward to getting to know you!
When Ashley is not at work, she loves spending time with her significant other and their awesome kiddos creating adventures and memories!
Holly
Registered Dental Hygienist
Holly graduated from Indiana University’s Dental Hygiene program with honors in 2013 after previously earning a degree in Psychology in 2006. She has enjoyed working in general dentistry and getting to establish relationships with a variety of patients. Holly is committed to helping people improve their oral health as well as overall health.
Holly grew up in Northern Indianapolis and lived in Louisiana and Washington before moving to Sheridan. She and her husband, Jeremiah, love the small community here and establishing their dream homestead that currently includes extensive gardens and three beehives.
They love spending time with precious family, dogs, wildlife, and exploring the beautiful creation near and far.
Megan
Registered Dental Hygienist
Megan graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene and Health Services. She has 18 years of experience working in a Pediatric Dental office as well as working with adults and children in general dentistry.
With a passion for all things teeth, Megan provides a gentle and thorough dental cleaning. She enjoys getting to know her patients and educating them to better their oral health.
Megan was born and raised in Lebanon, Indiana where she currently resides with her spouse, Mike, and their toy poodle, Mulligan. She enjoys playing golf, scrapbooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Alicia
Dental Assistant
Alicia has worked as a dental assistant for 33 years, previously with Dr. Natalie Roy and now with Schmidt Family Dentistry.
Alicia appreciates the team approach to providing the highest level of care possible. She enjoys how much fun she has with the team and the patients.
Alicia resides in Sheridan where she raised her two sons. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and two grandsons who are her world!
Janna
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Janna is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant with five years of experience in providing patient care. She began her dental career in 2020, working in both pediatric and general dentistry.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jon, and her two boys, Jameson and Jace.
She is passionate about helping patients achieve their best oral health and strives to create a welcoming, stress-free environment in our practice!
Erin
Treatment Coordinator
Erin has an incredible 30 years of experience in dentistry and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Schmidt Family Dentistry team. She has a passion for helping patients understand their treatment options and making every visit as smooth as possible.
Erin resides in Frankfort, IN with her husband whom she has been happily married to for over 30 years.
When Erin is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her beautiful family. She is the proud mom of three children and loves every minute of being a grandma to her grandson.
Andrea
Dental Hygienist
Andrea graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2010 and has been passionate about dental hygiene ever since. She loves building genuine relationships with her patients and helping each person achieve their healthiest smile. Her favorite part of being a hygienist is getting to know her patients personally while helping them understand and take an active role in their oral health.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young daughters. They live on five acres with their three big dogs, so there is never a shortage of fun (or dog hair!) at home. She also loves trying new restaurants, crafting, and making memories with her family.
When she is not cheering on her patients, you can usually find her cheering for her favorite team - the Green Bay Packers! She feels incredibly lucky to have a career that allows her to care for others while forming lasting connections with the people she serves.
